Counterclaims, Otherwise Known As Counter-Suits.
If you have been sued, the most natural instinct is to try to strike back any way you can. In legal parlance, this means pleading your counterclaims against a plaintiff. In slang, this is sometimes referred to as a counter-suit, although strictly speaking it is not a new suit, just new claims plead by the defendant back against the plaintiff. If you have been sued, call a Denver Business Lawyer at Williams Law, P.C. to discuss your defense and all the counterclaims you may have against the plaintiff or plaintiffs. This is your chance to fight back. Call us.
Thinking About Suing Someone? Beware of the Counter Suit or Counterclaims
Considering a lawsuit? Remember that any good lawyer helping your adversary will search diligently for counterclaims against you, and these attacks against you will be included in their answer to your complaint. It is the defense attorney's job to do this, and you will be surprised how creative a good Colorado defense lawyer can be.
